293. Ahijah B. Vore was born on 28 August 1840 in West Milton, Miami Co., Ohio. He appeared in the census in 1860 in Pipe Creek, Miami Co., Indiana. He died on 25 June 1913 at the age of 72 in Bunker Hill, Miami Co., Indiana. Ahijah was buried in Springdale Cemetery, Bunker, Miami Co., Indiana. He served in the military from 24 August 1861 to 24 September 1865.

Ahijah B. Vore and Hettie "Ester" Murray were married on 31 August 1865 in Miami Co., Indiana. They appeared in the census in 1870 in Pipe Creek, Miami Co., Indiana. They appeared in the census in 1900 in Jefferson, Miami Co., Indiana. Hettie "Ester" Murray, daughter of Samuel Murray and Sarah , was born about 1840 in Ohio. She died on 5 February 1919 at the age of 79 in Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana.
